Projects for Valentines

Valentine’s Stunning Small Rose Bouquet
Here is a great little project, with inexpensive items you can find at the Grocery and/or Dollar Store. We took a recycled powdered drink container and repurposed it into a small vase for a bouquet. We used Valentine’s scrapbook paper (1 sheet) and some small Valentines ribbon we found at the dollar store. Next we found some discount flowers at the Grocery (less than $5 for the whole bunch). Our final project was a very easy half hour of time and presto – an instant homemade Valentine’s gift for someone special that looks stunning

4. Put a second layer of Decoupage over paper and place ribbon over glue and let dry for approx. 15 min.
5. Using the height of the container you measured, size flowers accordingly…we usually use about 1 to 1 ½ inches above the top of the container to the bottom of the flowers-depends on how you wish your flowers to look. Cut floral foam to fit and soak to make flower insertion easier.
6. Place flowers and then we usually use a rubber band or two to keep flowers tightly in place just under the top of the container.
7. Fill with water, place in your favorite spot and you are finished!
